Meditation causes the mind to become calm and relaxed, relieving stress, anxiety, fear and tension. Meditating for as little as 20 minutes a sitting, twice a day can greatly improve mental health. Women who meditate restore their energy and are able to sleep better which in turn outs them in a better shape to ward off depression.
