Postpartum depression can be brought down by ensuring that the mother has a healthy and whole some diet that contains adequate Vitamin-B and Omega-3 fatty acids. Also women should arrange to have enough physical and emotional support with them in the first few days after delivery. The birth itself should be well-planned. Also, it helps when women are aware of PPD and its symptoms.
