This is the part of the urethra that passes through the prostate gland. It includes 3 kinds of openings that are called veru montanum:

* Opening of spillway channel which hosts the sperm from the vas deferens and ejaculatory canals of the seminal vesicle.

* Opening of prostatic ducts that exhaust the prostatic fluid in the process of ejaculation.

* Opening of the prostatic utricle
