A study conducted by the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom and published in American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine suggests that low maternal Vitamin E content in the prenatal diet is associated with asthma in 5 year old children. Another similar study states that inadequate Vitamin D levels in the prenatal diet can increase chances of wheezing during childhood.
