The Department of Psychiatry in Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, USA conducted a study to determine the effect of prenatal stress and high fat prenatal diet in rats on their offspring. They found that a high fat prenatal diet could be related to increased chances of diet-induced obesity in the offspring.
