Loss of appetite or poor appetite post delivery is a sign of depression and requires immediate medical attention. Some people believe that inadequate presence of Omega-3 fatty acids in the diet can lead to depression. Proteins and vitamins(especially vitamin-B) are also important. Above all, the mother should drink at least 8-10 glasses of water in a day.
