A study conducted by researchers in France suggests that there is a link between gender and postpartum depression. Mothers of male babies seemed to suffer from more severe depression. Of course, this does not mean that the cause of the depression was the fact that the babies were male. The fact seemed to hold good even with subsequent deliveries.
