Anaemia during pregnancy can be caused due to a variety of factors. Among those related to diet, are deficiency of iron and/or folic acid. This can be avoided by consuming food such as green leafy vegetables, eggs, meat, poultry, gram flour and chickpea. Iron and folic acid can also be had as tablets (dietary supplements).
