It is a hormonal disorder most common among women of childbearing age. No specific racial or nationality has been observed. It is a major cause of female infertility. The key signs are: decrease or absence of menstruation, obesity, anovulation and physical signs of masculinization. Symbols that appear and their severity are different for each woman. The real causes of this syndrome still a poorly understood but we note its frequent correlation with insulin resistance, diabetes and obesity.
